Glitter all around Helsinki

During three days in February 2013 

we visited 5 different homes of girls all around Helsinki and took their pictures.

All the girls were wearing clothes of their own,

only the jewelry and other accessories are from Glitter.

The fact is that jewelry tells stories about us.

Due to that, in the name of protecting the privacy of the girls,

we chose the jewelry for each of them to wear. 

This is not a documentary photo series.

We although wanted to add a piece of truth, 

so we reveal the ages, neighbourhoods and favorites 

of the girls.

The idea behind this pleasant princess play

was to express the role of the jewelry in everyday life.

Photos are telling how jewelry can make us look and feel.
